The Veterinary Innovation Summit is expanding north and heading to Colorado State University’s Translational Medicine Institute September 27-29, 2019 in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Since this event launched in 2016, the pace of change is only accelerating. New forms of telemedicine, investments, business models, and at-home diagnostics are all impacting the way medicine is practiced. The Veterinary Innovation Summit creates a space where some of the most progressive, innovative thinkers gather, network, and strategize ways to evolve with this change of pace.
This year Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary Medicine is partnering with Colorado State University’s Translational Medicine Institute to bring you VIS@CSU. The event is brought to you in part by NAVC and the Veterinary Innovation Council.
The program will begin Friday evening with a reception, dinner, and keynote presentation from a major online retailer (announcement coming!). Saturday will be packed with some of the greatest minds talking about the major themes that are impacting the profession. We will finish off the evening with a pitch competition and reception. Sunday will offer participants the option to engage in clinical skills training, workshops, outdoor adventures (hiking, biking), and a brewery tour in some of the country’s best breweries.
The two main themes for this VIS@CSU are business model innovation and translational medicine. Other possible topics include:
- Private Equity and Economic Trends
- Big Data
- Augmented Intelligence
- Virtual Reality and Artificial Reality
- Point of Care Diagnostics
- Virtual Care
- Educational Technologies
- Surgical Innovations
